Chains is a music video for Usher Raymond IV and Bibi Bourelly that throws a spotlight on the police brutality and shootings of black individuals across the United States. It was produced in tandem with an interactive video that brings viewers face to face with the black friends and family we've lost at the hands of a corrupt and racist police force; each time our eyes divert from the screen, the video restarts, prompting the #dontlookaway hashtag and theme of Usher's track.

The project uses non-linearity to project towards a future where Mr. Raymond doesn't exist, his life having been cut short after an encounter with the police. Throughout the video, cast objects - the work of visual artist Daniel Arsham - are repeatedly smashed to the floor, evoking a call for the erosion and destruction of systems and objects of oppression and violence.
