“A Tune” is a film about listening and readjustment. The story revolves around a piano tuner (Francis) tasked to tune a piano belonging to a widower. He soon learns that Arnie, the widowed, has recently been robbed. A mystery ensues wherein Francis turns detective, the piano acting as timeline to the crime, each note resembling a clue.

The film's non-sequential narrative form mirrors the way one tunes a piano (starting in the middle then alternating up/down the harp) while reflecting Arnie's emotional obstinance and defiance of life's painful linearity.
